All students entering a program of study which requires math or English courses must meet placement requirements for those courses.
Placement might be determined by senior high school transcripts and GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, and GED scores; all of which are valid for 5 years. Additionally, students who will be enrolled at another advanced schooling institution or college that is four-year submit their college transcripts for placement determination. Taking the Virginia Placement Test at New River
